Louisiana Basic Accounting and Contract Law Continuing Education
The purpose of this course is to introduce the attendee to the basic concepts of bookkeeping and accounting. While the terms are often used interchangeable, there is a distinct difference in the two terms. While bookkeeping is concerned with recording data in a certain manner, accounting is more concerned with presenting that data in a prescribed standardized way. It will also provide an overview of contracts and contract law. It will cover different types of contracts as well as the process of offering, consideration, and accepting the contract. It will also cover methods of contracts; design/build, turnkey, and prime contracts. This course offers 2 hours of Continuing Education.
